| Kevin Dunlap to hold "open forge" third Wednesday of every month,
alternating with Leroy Simmons Kevin Dunlap, an exceptional blacksmith, has graciously opened his shop to hold an "open forge" the third Wednesday of every month, starting at 6:00 PM. Starting with the June Open Forge, a project will be done in addition to the regular problem solving. For those of you not familiar with "open forge", if you have a problem you are stuck on, need an idea or suggestion on an issue you are dealing with, having a problem with a particular skill you can't quite get your head wrapped around or just need to practice at forging hot iron, this is what "open forge" is all about. It is a place to share ideas and information and to learn from a very skilled craftsman. If you need to use some of Kevin's equipment, iron, coal or gas, please be prepared to help offset the cost of the materials used. Be sure to call before coming so Kevin has and idea of how many people he can expect and to be sure that Kevin will be there. He just may have a conflict some night.
